Krisann was born and raised here locally in University Place where she has been a patient of Dr. Shaw’s since childhood. She later graduated from Pierce College as a Dental Hygienist, in 2009, and now working with Dr. Shaw since 2013. She enjoys spending time with her husband Travis, and son Beckham. The family is expecting their second child this January 2019. Krisann enjoys spending quality time with her family, long-distance running, gardening, and hiking. She is excited to be back in her hometown where she can give back to her community.
Sonica is originally from Nebraska. She relocated to Washington after joining the military. She has worked in the dental field for over 15 years. She started as a dental assistant in the Air Force, before evolving her passion to the field of dental hygiene. She is a strong advocate for community dental healthcare programs and often volunteers with mobile dental units to provide care to children, veterans, and individuals with greater need. She and her husband share 2 amazing daughters. Together they enjoy leading an active lifestyle, partaking in area fun runs, and appreciating the wonders of the Pacific Northwest, all while attempting to meet the demands of a couple of very busy toddlers.
Traci moved to the Summit/Puyallup area when she was 14 after her dad retired from the Air Force. she is a graduate of Franklin Pierce HS and Clover Park Technical College where she received her Dental Assisting Degree. She has been an assistant for the past 32 years, 21 of which have been with Dr. Shaw and Bridgeport Dental Arts. Traci and her husband Chris reside in Puyallup. She and Chris have three grown children and have been blessed with 3 grandsons. She enjoys country music concerts, vacationing with friends, but mostly spending time with family and chasing her grandkids around.
Pam is originally from California but has been calling Washington home since 1986. She enjoys boating on the Puget Sound with her husband and son, which includes fishing and crabbing! Anything on the water and enjoying what the Pacific Northwest has to offer us.
Pam has been in the dental field for many years, starting as a dental assistant in 1989. Her passion for assisting evolved into a strong interest in working with the administrative aspect while helping the patients understand how their dental plans could help them achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.

Kris has lived in several military bases and States before calling Washington State home. She just moved back to the Tacoma area a year ago and is enjoying all this area has to offer. Her favorite pass time activity is Anti-gravity Yoga and taking her fur-babies to the local dog parks.
Kris has been around the dental field since her earliest childhood memory. Her Dad is a retired Dentist and her mom is a retired hygienist. Kris went to Lake Washington Voc-tech for Dental assisting but found her true calling at the front desk. She loves helping her patients understand and make the most of their dental benefits to help keep their smiles healthy for years to come.
Holly is a Graduate of Clover Park Technical College, where she received and maintains her Registered Dental Assisting Degree. She has been an assistant for the past 32 years, of which 17 of those years have been with Dr. Shaw. She was recently married to all her co-workers present on a beach in Grand Cayman. She has 2 adult sons, a stepdaughter, and a stepson, with who she enjoys spending time. When she can she loves going to Arizona and hanging out with her youngest son lounging by the pool.
Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and is the newest addition here, at Bridgeport Dental Arts. She graduated from Pierce College with a Bachelors’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Before being a Registered Dental Hygienist, Jessica worked in the dental field for almost nine years as an office manager, billing coordinator, and patient coordinator. Jessica’s goal is to provide excellent individualized care for patients in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Jessica has been married to Julio for nine years. Together they have two children, a boy, and a girl, ages 7 and 4. In her free time, Jessica spends most of her time with family and her dog, volunteering at school activities, camping, hiking, gardening, traveling, or trying new foods.
