After retiring from professional football playing for The Los Angeles Rams (NFL) and The Hamilton TigerCats (CFL), Dr. Shaw settled down in University Place to practice Dentistry. He continues his love of sports by supporting local Curtis High School and Little League sports programs.

Dr. Shaw and his wife Denise, a Registered Nurse, have five wonderful daughters and a growing number of grandchildren. Both are very committed and involved in their local church and community activities.
